on the bottom thread of the flask compartment?
[18:47] Ron : For bottom thread of the flask we use gasket to make sure it is water proof and the last compartment is fixed properly. [18:48] V1441372341404448 : Ah ok. I’ll put the spare there then. Just wasn’t sure where the broken gasket came from. [18:49] V1441372341404448 : Is there a reason why the flask doesn’t have a sealed bottom? Rather it just has the other section that screws in. The bottom of the flask has a very small thread where as the lid of the flask has a very long thread. [18:50] Ron : The flask doesn’t come with a sealed bottom because if the bottom is sealed we cannot join it with another flask. These flasks are customizable. [18:51] V1441372341404448 : A thread couldn’t be added to a sealed bottom? I was just concerned about having to be extra careful not to accidentally open the bottom when it has liquid in it. I thought on kickstarter the green was listed as matte green, and was an olive green as seen in the pics. My one is slightly metallic and more of a darker green [18:54] V1441372341404448 : still a lovely colour just not quite what I was expecting. As it slides out easily, which is good for access but slips out when using the light at the other end. [18:56] V1441372341404448 : i wouldn’t want it slipping out and getting lost [18:57] Ron : If you want it to affix that I would recommend you use double sided tape and after usage you can simply remove that. [18:58] V1441372341404448 : ok, I wondered if it was meant to come with a fixture of some sort that I didn’t get. I’ll have to make a little something to hold it in. [18:59] V1441372341404448 : One last thing, more of a comment than a question. My flashlight actually has three settings: bright, dim, sos. Rather than the listed dual mode.
